SQL Server 2008 R2 Parallel Data Warehouse Architecture Overview  by Sergey Pustovit

During this session we will go over the architecture of the new scale out solution - SQL Server 2008 R2 Parallel Data Warehouse or PDW. The PDW is an appliance based product that was announced during the 2010 PASS Community Summit. It is a massively scalable data warehousing solution that has garnered a lot of attention. We will look inside the PDW appliance to understand better what components are in use and how it works.

What’s New in BI for SQL Server "Denali?"  by John Welch

What’s new and changing in Business Intelligence for the next version of SQL Server (Denali)? During this session, we’ll cover the major improvements that are planned for SSIS, SSAS, and SSRS in Denali. We’ll also highlight some of the changes in the database engine that affect BI solutions. For those interested in PowerPivot, we’ll also address the changes coming in Denali for corporate use of the PowerPivot technologies.
